Anjali Bansal
Founder, Avaana Capital 

Anjali Bansal is the Founder of Avaana Capital which invests in and provides scaling up support to innovation-led start-ups for catalysing impact at scale while delivering commercial returns.
 
Anjali has invested in and mentored various successful start-ups including Delhivery, UrbanClap, Darwinbox, Nykaa, and Lenskart. She is closely associated with NITI Aayog’s Women Entrepreneurship Platform, digital solutions, and mentor to the Atal Innovation Mission.

Anjali is former Non-Executive Chairperson of Dena Bank, appointed by the Government ofIndia to steer the resolution of the stressed Bank, eventually leading to merger with Bank of Baroda. She was earlier a global Partner and Managing Director with TPG Growth PE responsible for India, SE Asia, Africa and the Middle East. She started her career as a strategy consultant with McKinsey and Co. in New York.

She serves as an independent non-executive director on several leading boards including Siemens Ltd, Tata Power, Piramal Enterprises. She has previously chaired the India board of Women's World Banking, a leading global livelihood-promoting institution and on the Managing Committee of the Indian Venture Capital Association.
 
She has been elected as President designate, Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and serves on the CII National Committee on Corporate Governance. Anjali previously co-founded and chaired the FICCI Center for Corporate Governance program for Women on Corporate Boards. She is a member of the Young Presidents' Organization and charter member of TiE.

 

Ashish Ajmera
Co-Founder & Creator,  Jackinthebox toys

JackInTheBox is a leading brand of educational experience boxes that encourages the concept of learning off-gadgets, while promoting curiosity and creativity in children. Each box has a mix of DIY, art and craft, science experiments and recipes, and is centered around themes such as Space, Jungle, Around the World etc. Prior to this, he was part of the founding team at MITRA, which saw 2 rounds of institutional funding and grew revenues by 5X in one year. He was part of the prestigious young leader program at Bharti Airtel.

 

Mary Ghobrial
Director, Marketplace expansion, Amazon Middle East

She leads the Global Selling program for the Middle East & North Africa region, empowering local entrepreneurs to sell globally. She also leads the 3P business for Saudi Arabia, the largest marketplace in MENA. As the Chief Commercial Officer at sourq.com, she led the regional retail initiatives across categories. Throughout her 25 year long career, she has worked across FMCG, entertainment and online shopping. She has been recognized as a Young Arab Leader and has also been nominated for Arabic Woman for US exchange.


 Meghana Narayan
Co-Founder, Slurrp Farm

Meghana is passionate about early childhood nutrition. She is committed to make a positive change to health of children and families around the world by introducing traditional Indian grains to the global plate. Before starting Slurrp Farm, Meghana led the Public Health practise at McKinsey & Company. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, a BA in Computation as a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University and a BE with Distinction in Computer Engineering from Bangalore University. Meghana was also a national level swimmer for India for many years. She has won over 400 national gold medals and has represented India at the Asian Games.
