Speaker and Moderator Bios:

Krishna Bhagavathula, Chief Technology Officer, NBA

 As Chief Technology Officer for the NBA, Krishna Bhagavathula is responsible for setting the NBA’s technology strategy and ensuring alignment with the league’s objectives. He leads team that are delivering best-in-class applications, systems and infrastructure to support the various leagues (NBA, WNBA, NBA G League, NBA 2K League), their teams, staff and fans.

 Prior to joining the NBA in September 2017, Krishna served as Chief Technology Officer for NBC News Digital, where he oversaw technology teams focused on developing web, mobile and OTT platforms/products for NBCNews.com, MSNBC and shows including TODAY, Nightly News and Meet The Press. Before joining NBC News in 2013, he spent over eight years at WebMD, most significantly as Vice President of Engineering, where he led development teams responsible for WebMD’s internet properties, mobile applications, content management and search/discovery platforms.

 Krishna has also held management consulting positions with BearingPoint, IBM and PricewaterhouseCoopers, after starting his career as a software engineer developing mobile network provisioning systems. He has extensive experience driving strategic and transformational digital initiatives that have deep organizational impact, as well as leading and implementing business and technology solutions across a wide range of enterprises ranging from startups to multi-billion-dollar corporations.

A frequent speaker and panelist at industry conferences and events, Krishna is an avid sports fan (and cricket tragic!), news junkie and loves traveling, especially when it involves the outdoors.

He has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Andhra University, India and a master’s degree – also in mechanical engineering – from the University of Cincinnati. He lives in Princeton, N.J., with his wife and two daughters.

Selvam Ratinasabapati, CIO, KIND

Selvam Ratinasabapati is SVP and CIO at KIND, one of the fastest-growing healthy snack companies. At KIND, Selvam is responsible for enterprise applications, data analytics, infrastructure, information security and digital commerce.

Since joining in 2017, Selvam has led the strategy and implementation of digital transformation and data analytics and moved systems to cloud infrastructure.

Prior to joining KIND, Selvam held a variety of technology leadership positions at Viacom, and Wiley where he led large scale global business process and technology transformations and led global IT organizations. Prior to that Selvam spent significant time in management and technology consulting firms including Ernst and Young.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the PSG College of Technology in India, and MBA from Stern School of Business, NYU

Sri Geedipalli, Managing Director, Simanor

Srinath ("Sri") Geedipalli has 20 years of professional experience in Operational, Business Development and Finance roles in multiple industries. Sri is a Managing Director and Co-Founder at Simanor, an Advisory firm focused on mid-market companies in US and India providing M&A, Strategic and Capital Raising Advisory services.

At Simanor, he leads the Company’s initiatives within the Technology, Healthcare and Business Services industries. Sri has successfully originated and advised on multiple M&A transactions involving US and International companies in the IT, BPO, Healthcare and Engineering industries. Sri has closed deals in the Software, IT and outsourcing industries and is actively focused on SaaS and Emerging Technologies.

Earlier Sri held leadership roles in Healthcare and Technology companies including Envision Healthcare Corp (NASDAQ:AMSG) and a leading Microsoft partner. He also consulted with clients in the Healthcare, Finance, Infrastructure and Education industries.Sri is a Board Member at the NYC chapter of the Alliance of M&A Advisors (AM&AA) and was also presented with M&A Advisor’s Top 40 under 40 award in the recent past.

Sri has an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business (Beta Gamma Sigma Honors). He holds a Master's degree in Engineering Management from the University of Missouri (Dean's Fellow). Sri obtained his bachelor's degree in Engineering from India.
