Speaker Bio:
Mr. Shroff is a tech entrepreneur and executive leader who has founded and grown multiple tech companies internationally. Arun is founder/CEO of Xtend.AI, a startup using AI to solve global challenges in health and other domains. He is also a co-founder/CTO at Medindia.net, one of India's top health websites, empowering consumers, patients and doctors with information and tools to better manage health and improve outcomes. Medindia.net was visited by over 30 million visitors in the last 12 months and has over 1 million pages of content and applications.

Arun serves as a topic lead at the Focus Group on AI for Health - a joint initiative of WHO and ITU (UN agency) for assessing AI for health models and creating a global AI community on health. In addition. Arun is a Director of Technology & Innovation at STAR Associates, providing strategic and advisory services to early stage technology companies in AI, Robotics, Blockchain, VR/AR, and health. He has presented at the AI for Good Global Summit in Geneva, ITU/WHO conferences in New York, Wilton Park, London, IIT Madras, Apollo Hospitals and TiE.

Arun has a technology engineering degree from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), an MBA from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), and a M.S. in Computer Science from Penn State University, plus certifications in AI/Machine Learning & Deep Learning from Stanford.
