About TYE:
TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) is a Global Program fostering the next generation of entrepreneurs and business leaders, by equipping high school students (grades 9–12) with entrepreneurial skills by doing, rather than talking. More than 30 TiE chapters worldwide currently run the TYE program!
The program consists of eight sessions on entrepreneurship and leadership, along with all aspects of setting up and running a successful business venture. The students then brainstorm a business idea and prepare for a competition under the guidance of an assigned mentor—a CEO or senior professional from the industry. Teams first compete at the regional level, and the winning teams get the opportunity to represent Bangalore at the TYE Global Finals for cash prizes and recognition!
