About TYE:

TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) is a Global Program fostering the next generation of entrepreneurs and business leaders, by equipping high school students (grades 9 - 12) with entrepreneurial skills by doing, rather than talking. More than 30 TiE chapters worldwide currently run the TYE program!

The program consists of 8 sessions on entrepreneurship & leadership, along with all aspects of setting up and running a successful business venture. The students then brainstorm a business idea and prepare for a competition under the guidance of an assigned mentor - a CEO/senior professional from the industry. Teams first compete at the regional level, and the winning teams get the opportunity to represent Bangalore at the TYE Global Finals for cash prizes and recognition!

Highlights:

• Sparks creativity, builds confidence and increases problem solving skills among high school students
• Students work in teams to build a startup from an idea of their own
• Classes and case studies conducted by successful entrepreneurs, industry experts and thought leaders 
• Interactive offline  sessions held from 9th May, 2023
• The winning team from Bangalore qualifies for the TYE Global Competition
• $10,000 worth of awards for global winners
