TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) is a flagship yearlong program of TiE and has touched 15000 high school students (grades 9-12 or equivalent) over the last 11 years, many of whom have gone on to start their own companies. 

TYE aims to inspire, challenge and empower students to become the next generation of entrepreneurs, business and community leaders. TYE instructors, mentors, and industry experts come together to teach students design thinking, customer validation, prototyping, and business models through a hands-on, invention entrepreneurship curriculum. Students walk away with essential life skills, teamwork, innovation, and leadership. They learn resilience and compassion through failures and the successes of taking risks and trying again. 

This year the top 23 teams from 23 cities around the world will attend the TiE Global Competition. Join us to encourage these young entrepreneurs for TYE Global Competition 2020 where they share their final pitches, prototypes and business models with the esteemed judges for cash prizes and recognition. This virtual competition hosted by TiE Seattle is open to the public. We look forward to welcoming you to celebrate these young entrepreneurs.
