Chris Tran, Head of North Ridge Partners Asia, would be presenting the keynote session and would share key insights from his recently published ‘2019 Southeast Asia Internet Trends report’. The keynote would be followed by a Panel discussion moderated by Maya Hari, with Chris Tran, Ding Peng, Juliet Zhu, Nicholas du Cray and Eugene Lee joining the panel.

Chris has more than 20 years’ experience in investing, operating and advising companies and works with high growth South East Asian technology and Internet companies to raise capital, grow and exit.

Over his career Chris has led numerous private and public equity and debt fund raisings, mergers, restructurings, disposals, strategy and market entry projects. As an investor and adviser, he is focused on Series A+ South East Asian Technology and Internet companies.

Maya Hari leads the Asia Pacific region for Twitter. Maya's focus has been to fuel Twitter strategy and rapid growth in key markets such as China, India, Australia and Indonesia. 

Maya brings diverse business experience having led functions in Sales, Marketing & Product Management. She also serves on the board of technology companies such as OpenLearning and as a board advisor of startups in Data Science & Commerce field.

Prior to Twitter, Maya spent 16+ years in the digital media, mobile and eCommerce in the US and in Asia Pacific region for brands such Google, Samsung, Microsoft & Cisco.
