TiE Pune is pleased to host a first time discussion with practitioners of AI in the new era of Digital Transformation.

The discussion will explore society, industry and consumer pull for AI, the push of new technologies and success stories nationally and globally.

The session will be led by Dr Ganesh Natarajan, Chairman of 5F World and Co- Founder of the Center for AI & Advanced Analytics.

Speakers will be: Arun Gollapudi, Co-Founder and CEO of Systech Inc, Krishna Ramaswamy, Managing Director, Fulcrum Digital Inc and Dr Rohini Srivathsa, National Technology Head of Microsoft

Arun Gollapudi Founder and CEO of Systech Inc

Arun is a Co-founder and CEO of Systech Solutions.  He launched Systech with a vision of driving better business decisions with information derived from very large datasets. As data continues to explode in volume, velocity, variety and value, the technologies to support our mission continue to evolve dramatically.  Arun’s role is to shape the company’s strategy for Data Management and Analytics, evolving approaches to extract, transform and model information from both structured and unstructured data.

Under his leadership, Systech designs and  implements solutions for Business Intelligence, Data Management and Analytics

Education: MBA from UCLA Anderson School, MS Engineering from the University of New Brunswick, Canada and a BTech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.

Krishna Ramaswami, Managing Director - India, Falcrum Digital Inc

Krishna brings 30 years of senior business leadership experience in the IT Solutions and Services industry. Most recently, he was the Global Head for Cognizant Interactive where he led the Life Sciences and Healthcare vertical. Prior to Cognizant, he worked with Zensar Technologies, where he led multiple strategic portfolios in leadership positions such as Senior Vice President and Head of Digital Business.

He has also played pivotal roles in growing and driving large strategic businesses in Application Portfolio Management, Application Modernization, Infrastructure Management and Strategy Consulting across industry verticals such as Manufacturing, Retail, Insurance, Life Sciences and Healthcare.

He has addressed several global and India forums as a speaker, including CII, NHRD, NASSCOM, Gartner UK, Gartner South Africa and Gordon Institute of Management (Johannesburg).

On a personal front, his wife, Geeta, works at Schlumberger India Technology Center in Pune as Head L&D. He has two daughters: Anjali, a post graduate in Bioinformatics from Pune University who works at National Chemical Laboratories in Pune; and Nidhi, who is pursuing her BA in English Honors at St. Stephens in Delhi.

In his leisure time, Krishna’s hobbies include music, singing, movies and reading.

Dr. Rohini Srivathsa National Technology Officer – Microsoft India

Dr. Rohini Srivathsa is the National Technology Officer at Microsoft India. Rohini has recently joined Microsoft and is committed to the company’s mission to enable every business and individual to achieve
more through technology. In her role as NTO, Rohini is responsible for driving digital transformation across industry and government as a thought leader, and for leading strategic initiatives for Microsoft India in AI and other emerging exponential technologies.
Prior to joining Microsoft, Rohini was the Vice President at Fidelity Investments where she steered AI and machine learning initiatives for the retail business segment. Rohini began her career in R&D at AT&T Bell Laboratories in the US and has 20+ technical publications in ACM/IEEE & other international journals. She has also worked in strategy consulting at Boston Consulting Group and IBM Global Business Services, helping clients across India and emerging markets. Rohini has an experience of over 25 years across financial services, telecom, consumer and technology sectors.
Rohini holds a PhD in Engineering from UT Austin, an MBA from Wharton, and loves books, Hindustani classical music and photography. She lives in Bangalore with her husband and two children.
