Start-up founders have good business concepts & understand the technology solutions which will solve customer issues, but flounder when they are required to pitch their idea to investors, customers, partners and potential employees. The structure of the pitch presentation is important, but the most critical component is communication skill which can create an impact.

This session will focus on fundamental communication skills & techniques which will help a start-up founder.

Ajay Hiraskar is alumni of IIM Bangalore & Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies and has earlier worked in the corporate sector in global roles across Sales, Marketing, Training & IT Services. His stints have been in companies like DELL, Idea Cellular, Reliance Infocomm, Eureka Forbes & The Times of India.

Ajay works extensively with start-ups as a Mentor & Strategic Advisor. He heads his own firmSuccess Alchemists & they are the “go-to” people who talented entrepreneurs seek out for inspiration, support, and push - resulting in vastly increased ROI and success rates. 

Ajay is a Governing Council Member at The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE). He has been involved with the Mentoring initiative ‘Nurture’ for the past 6 years which has seen many companies from Pune succeed in Indian & International Markets as well as get multiple rounds of funding. He has also helped organize the biggest start-up conference in Pune – TiECon which has been held annually for the past 5 years.

He also holds a leadership role as District 98 – Administration Manager at Toastmasters International, a global no-profit organization which helps individuals develop their leadership & public speaking skills. He has achieved the coveted Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) level, which less than 2% of the 3.5 lacs members worldwide achieve.
