TiE Young Entrepreneurs

TiE Young Entrepreneurs is a Global program aimed at fostering our future generation of entrepreneurs. TYE focuses on teaching entrepreneurship to high school students and helping them discover the rewards and challenges of becoming an entrepreneur. During the program, the students form teams, go through classroom session modules focused on different aspects of business and entrepreneurship, then write their own business plans. Teams compete at the chapter level Finals first and the winner of each chapter goes on to the Global Competition to compete for $10,000 in cash prizes. TYE has become a Global Program and now over 20 chapters throughout the TiE network participate each year. The TiE Young Entrepreneur (TYE) Program is a program where students learn about entrepreneurship, ideation and business basics, over the course of the school year.

The TYE Program involves local entrepreneurs, business professionals, parents, youth, coaches, and mentors. By coaching hundreds of students in this Global program, TiE is proud of its impact towards “Education” and “Mentoring”.

• Classes to be held at Calcutta International School (CIS) campus for Class IX-XII students 
• 32 Hrs total course curriculum- Classes held from 10AM - 2 PM on Sundays ( starting 29th July18)
• Classes conducted by entrepreneurs- TiE Kolkata members
• Business plan competition for teams with prize money:  Award for Winning Team is INR 50K 
• Student participation fees of INR 9K per student + applicable GST (18%)
• Winning team gets chance to represent Kolkata Chapter at Global competition
• TYE Batch 2017-18 Winning team won the" Best Customer Validation Award" in TYE Global Finals held at Washington DC in Jun'18 this year
