TiE Youth Entrepreneurs High School is a focused program for high schoolers to learn entrepreneurship, invention and innovation by doing, rather than talking.

October to November, instructors lead students through workshops to begin with an idea and how to develop that into a startup using design thinking, rapid prototyping, lean canvas and more followed by real application. Students are encouraged to be creative and bold as they forge their path in entrepreneurship. January to March, participants will work in teams to implement the skills learned in the classroom to create products or services that can be turned into business ventures and compete in the local Tampa regional competition. The winning team will get the opportunity to further compete in the TiE Young Entrepreneurs Global competition with direct mentorship and training from seasoned entrepreneurs.

Phase I (October-November): Virtual Workshops introducing students to Entrepreneurship, Design thinking, rapid prototyping and more.

Phase II (January-March): Students work in teams to implement skills learned to hone-in on their presentation skills and develop prototypes to compete in the local Tampa competition.

Phase III: Winning team from regional competition in Tampa will have the opportunity to be mentored through the TiE Young Entrepreneurs Global Competition.

Registration:

Members: $300

Non-members: $425
