TiE Women:

An initiative has taken by TiE Global to Embrace, Engage and Empower women entrepreneurs across the Globe.

This Global-scale program will support companies led or co-led by women to pitch their product on a global platform and in front of a dynamic set of audiences which will consist of Investors, accelerators, ecosystem enablers from across the world. Through this program we also aim to better our economic growth by supporting entrepreneurs with education, mentoring and funding opportunities locally as well as globally.

• Applications will be open from the 17th of February, 2020 till the 7th March, 2020, midnight.
• Companies will be curated and will be called in for the semi-final pitch fest on the 11th of March, 2020. 
• Once the semi-final is concluded, selected companies will be then assigned to lead mentors by TiE for a period of 2.5 months till the chapter-level finale. 
• A chapter-level finale will help to announce the chapter winner and 3 runners-up.
• The Chapter winner will then represent the chapter and their company also compete against 25 TiE Chapter representatives across the globe at the TiE Global Summit, Dubai in December. 
• The Winner and the runners-up will also be sent to a 2-day Mentoring Bootcamp to Mumbai by the TiE Global. 

Criteria:

• The Company should be registered under the Company Registration Act (Pvt. Ltd or LLP)
• The company should be led or co-led by a woman.
• If the company is co-led by both men and women then only the woman will be allowed to represent the product/service. 
• The company should be an early stage or a late-stage startup.

Important Date:

• Application Deadline: 7th March 2020
• Semi-finals - 11th March. 2020
• Program Duration: March-May, 2020
• Chapter Finale - June 2020
