Daniel Colón, Partner, CM Equity Partners

Daniel Colón has worked with the CMEP partners as a transaction professional since its founding. Mr. Colón's is primarily focused on the sourcing and review of new acquisition opportunities for both CMEP and its portfolio companies, as well as acquisition support on current transactions.

Mr. Colón received an MBA from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College and a BA in Communications from the University of Miami at Coral Gables, Florida.

He currently sits on the Advisory Council of the Young Patrons Circle of American Friends of the Louvre and is a member of the Junior Committee of the American Hospital of Paris Foundation.

Deepak Hathiramani,  Cofounder and Executive Chairman,  SteeleHarbour Capital Partners

 Mr. Hathiranmani is the Cofounder and Executive Chairman of SteeleHarbour Capital Partners, a privately held real estate and asset management firm that invests in high-quality real estate through direct equity and structured investments.

Mr. Hathiramani is the founder and Managing Director of Hathi Partners LLC, a family office investment firm focused on alternative investments including private equity and technology investments.

Prior to SteeleHarbour and Hathi Partners, Mr. Hathiramani was the founder of Vistronix Intelligence and Technology Solutions, a national security solutions provider until its recent acquisition by Arctic Slope Regional Corporation (ASRC) Federal Holding Company in August 2016.

With revenues exceeding $170 million Vistronix was a 700+ employee leading middle-market provider of cyber, analytics, signal processing, cloud computing, and big data management software and systems solutions to the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, Department of State, multiple federal civilian agencies, and the commercial sector. 

Mr. Hathiramani has more than 25 years of experience with privately funded and venture-funded hightech start-ups. Prior to Vistronix, he worked with high-tech start-ups including Nx Networks (Netrix Corporation) through its Initial Public Offering and Cinnabar Software until its acquisition by publicly traded KMW Systems.

Mr. Hathiramani received a B.A., Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.S. (Honors) from the University of Bombay, India. He possesses a Diploma in Business Management and Industrial Administration and has completed several Business Executive Programs from the Amos Tuck School, Dartmouth College. Mr. Hathiramani most recently completed a Certificate Program in Walkable Urban Real Estate Development at the George Washington University.

Tom Leydorf, Executive Vice President, Chickasaw Nations Industries
Mr. Leydorf is an experienced executive who has successfully led diverse teams for the federal government and private companies. He currently serves as Executive Vice President for Corporate Strategy at Chickasaw Nation Industries, Inc (CNI). CNI is a holding company that owns about one dozen businesses providing IT, engineering, and professional services to federal and commercial customers. CNI employs about 2,000 people with offices throughout the United States. Previously, Mr. Leydorf served as the Executive Director and Research Director of the Urban Warfare Analysis Center (UWAC) from 2006 to 2010. Between 1991 and 2006, Mr. Leydorf served in the U.S. Intelligence Community, achieving the rank of GS-15. 

Mr. Leydorf is all-but-dissertation (ABD) toward a PhD degree in international affairs. He holds Master of Arts degrees in theology (Fuller Theological Seminary) and international relations (University of Maryland, College Park) and a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and economics (University of California, Berkeley).

Mr. Leydorf lives with his wife and sons in Norman, OK. He is an active member of his church and has served on the boards of various companies and non-profit organizations.

Stephen Vather, Executive Director, Corporate Development and M&A @ ManTech 

Stephen Vather leads corporate development (M&A) and investor relations efforts for ManTech. ManTech provides mission-focused technology solutions and services for U.S. defense, intelligence community and federal civilian agencies. 

In business more than 50 years, the company excels in full-spectrum cyber, data collection & analytics, enterprise IT, systems and software engineering solutions that support national and homeland security. Since joining ManTech in 2014, Stephen has successfully closed seven acquisitions including most recently, acquisitions of Kforce Government Solutions (KGS) and InfoZen. 

Prior to ManTech, Stephen worked at Mercury Systems supporting its corporate development and strategy efforts. He began his career as an investment banker covering the defense and government services sector at Sagent Advisors. Stephen is a graduate of Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business with a degree in Business Administration.

Manan K. Shah has over eighteen years of consulting, management and M&A advisory experience in the government, aerospace, defense, business process outsourcing, software and information technology sectors. Leader of the Government, Aerospace & Defense group at Focus, Mr. Shah has completed a number of M&A transactions for clients such as Avialec, Blue Canopy, Calibre Systems, Camber Corporation, Cambridge Systems and Global Science & Technology among others. He has also represented numerous clients in the software, information technology, engineering and other professional services firms in successful M&A and corporate finance transactions. Mr. Shah is also an expert in cross border transactions particularly between US and India.
