About Richa Pandy

Richa Pandey is a Managing Partner in Gartner’s High Technology and Telecom Consulting Practice. With 27+ years of Telecommunications experience, Richa has held various leadership positions with Bell Labs, AT&T and IBM and is passionate about leveraging technology to create and deliver solutions that reduce cost structures and create new sources of revenue for our clients. She has deep expertise in Technology and the Telecommunications and Media and Entertainment industries in North America and globally.

During her year AT&T career, Richa led the launch of various AT&T Global Ventures including AT&T Latin America, Unisiti (China), Concert, AT&T Canada, Alestra (Mexico), Uniworld (Europe), AT&T UK, and World Partners Company (AT&T, KDD and Singapore Telecom). Richa has worked closely with Regional CEO and other company Officers in strategic technical planning & design and Operating Model Definition (organization and processes) for new venture products, services, processes, operations, network platforms, vendor evaluations and delivery/execution leading to company/service launch. She  has experience in leading the design and development of a product or service from concept to delivery from quote to cash (Sales, Ordering, Provisioning, Maintenance, Network Management, Service Assurance, Network Capacity Planning, Operations and Billing).  She has led the Enterprise IT team responsible for IPV6 compliance within AT&T and managed global teams supporting 100+ projects.

At IBM, Richa has led Industry Solutions for the Communications Industry working with clients globally and has championed new buyer discussions on Digital Transformation, Adaptive Vendor Sourcing, AI, Machine Learning and Cognitive Solutions, Cloud, Analytics, Audience Insights, Proactive Network Operations based on Predictive Analytics, Proactive Asset Management, Predictive Maintenance, Improving Consumer Experience, SDN/NFV, Cloud Based Networks, Safer Cities, Internet of Things, Personalized Customer Engagements, Intelligent Customer Service, Intelligent Campaigns, Smarter Commerce, Smarter Operations, and Smarter Networks. In this role she worked with clients globally (including leading the launch of a greenfield 4G client launch in Asia).

Richa provided Executive Leadership and expertise on IBM's Smarter Cities Challenge Executive Team for the City of Allahabad, India leading discussions, interviews and presentations in Hindi with the local Municipal Government and providing significant local insights to the IBM Global team.

Richa has an MBA in Global Business from Columbia University. She also holds a Masters in Computer Science from Columbia University and Bachelors in Computer Engineering from Delhi Institute of Technology, India
