Overview

We cordially invite you to take part in our TiE New York's monthly Startup OMN event on Tuesday, September 8 starting 6:00 PM, for an exciting night of virtual networking and pitching!

To pitch at this event, you don’t have to be a TiE member, you just need to be an entrepreneur or an aspiring entrepreneur with a passion to share your idea that may change our world. You will be given a safe entrepreneurial friendly virtual space to deliver an elevator pitch for 2 minutes in presence of a group of mentors, angel investors, venture capitalists, startup-focused service providers, and a very supportive community of successful entrepreneurs.

Each attendee must register in order to be invited on the online conference bridge exclusively created for this event.

For our September Open Mic Night, Krishna Kottapalli will be serving as our featured guest. More information on Krishna can be found below:

Krishna Kottapalli has served as business executive, growth leader, and trusted advisor roles in the healthcare technology and healthcare IT services verticals. Krishna’s 20+ years of experience span start-ups, VC/PE-funded growth firms, and publicly traded corporations.
As an entrepreneur, Krishna co-founded SCIO, a health data and analytics firm, which he grew from scratch to $85M in 10 years through aggressive organic and inorganic growth strategies. He navigated SCIO through multiple rounds of funding and also led M&A actions to expand the IP and market reach to service payers, health systems, PBMs, employers, and life sciences companies. This all led to the acquisition of SCIO by EXL Service for $240M in 2018. The leadership team asked Krishna to remain as the Healthcare Business Unit SVP through the transition and to drive the growth of the business until early this year.

If you plan to speak and pitch your start-up, please do register as a "Presenter”. Note that as speaker in a virtual forum, you will need to upload your pitch deck during the registration process. Your pitch deck shouldn’t exceed 6 slides. You may please review/download the pitch deck template here. If your start-up is speaking but you are not the key speaker, register as a non-member or member (whichever applies).

All attendees and speakers should log in sharp by 6:00 pm on September 8. Again - you don’t need to be member to attend the event, and the event is free. And you are always welcome to join our ever-growing coveted community of entrepreneurs by visiting our website.
