Overview

We cordially invite you to take part in our TiE New York's monthly Startup OMN event on Tuesday, November 10 starting 6:00 PM, for an exciting night of virtual networking and pitching!

To pitch at this event, you don’t have to be a TiE member, you just need to be an entrepreneur or an aspiring entrepreneur with a passion to share your idea that may change our world. You will be given a safe entrepreneurial friendly virtual space to deliver an elevator pitch for 2 minutes in presence of a group of mentors, angel investors, venture capitalists, startup-focused service providers, and a very supportive community of successful entrepreneurs.

Our featured speaker this month is Jason Scott, the Head of Startup Development Ecosystem at Google. Finishing an undergraduate degree at MIT, Jason got his professional start in management consulting at Arthur D. Little. After ADL, Jason moved from Boston to San Francisco to join the YC-backed startup - Homejoy - and subsequently went on to pursue an MBA from Stanford GSB. During and after GSB, Jason worked independently with a number of startups, eventually joining the investment team at Highland Capital Partners. Jason came to Google in early 2018 as a Global Startup Programs Manager under Google Cloud. Today, he serves as Google's cross-functional US Startup Developer Ecosystem lead - managing Google's U.S.-based Accelerator programs and startup developer engagement strategy. In addition, he also remains an active seed investor, startup advisor, and the founder of FactionSF - a community for creatives, entrepreneurs, and early-stage investors.

Each attendee must register in order to be invited on the online conference bridge exclusively created for this event.

If you plan to speak and pitch your start-up, please do register as a "Presenter”. Note that as speaker in a virtual forum, you will need to upload your pitch deck during the registration process. Your pitch deck shouldn’t exceed 6 slides. You may please review/download the pitch deck template here. If your start-up is speaking but you are not the key speaker, register as a non-member or member (whichever applies).

All attendees and speakers should log in sharp by 6:00 pm on November 10. Again - you don’t need to be member to attend the event, and the event is free. And you are always welcome to join our ever-growing coveted community of entrepreneurs by visiting our website.
