Gita is actively involved in promoting entrepreneurship with an equal focus on Social Entrepreneurship. She is a Board Member of TiE Delhi-NCR and has served as a TiE Global Trustee previously. Gita initiated and mentors the TiE the Knot program - a live pitching platform for start-ups - now in its 9th season with success stories like Wedmegood, Peebuddy, Styledotme, Deyor Camps, Storyxpress Impact guru, Genrobotics and others.

Gita brings a pragmatic approach to addressing the needs of rapidly changing and complex business goals. She uses her diverse corporate experience to assist in understanding business issues, global needs and cultural nuance, which helps founders adapt and align them to enhance their effectiveness. Her areas of developmental focus include: alignment of business and personal goals, situational leadership, communication and influence and executive presence. She is an angel investor as well as a mentor for startups.
