Profile : He has been a member of TiE since 1997/98. He studied at MIT and Harvard Business School and remained in Boston doing entrepreneurship for about 20 years. Most recently, he did a computer vision company for detecting theft at retail checkouts by automatic analysis of overhead security video complemented by validating high-suspicion events by human eyes at our validation center in Salt Lake Sector-V. The name of the company is StopLift Checkout Vision Systems . StopLift was recently acquired by NCR ("National Cash Register"), which is well known for making retail POS terminals, self-checkouts, ATM's, airport check-in kiosks, etc.
