Stephen has held senior leadership roles in several different disciplines and companies. He held senior roles in Strategy and M&A at Vodafone, as well as Chief of Staff to the Vodafone Group CEO. He then switched from strategic to scale operational roles and was appointed Sales Director for Vodafone Ireland with responsibility for Online and field based teams. He then moved to Vodafone UK and was appointed Customer Operations Director, with responsibility for numerous digital teams, including Customer Services. Stephen joined Paddy Power Betfair as Managing Director of Operations in 2016. In 2019, he was appointed Chief Integration Officer for the £12bn merger between Flutter Entertainment and The Stars Group. He then joined William Hill in 2020 as Group Chief Operating Officer.

He has significant experience in running both strategic and operational functions, including driving large scale transformation via the use of automation and AI. Stephen holds a BA (Hons) in Politics from Loughborough University and an MBA from Henley Business School.
