Paul’s early career was spent in a technology and defence sector multi-national before moving into recruitment and becoming a director at the RK Group, where, as MD, he led 9 offices across the UK until December 2010.

In 2011, Paul founded Rowan Executive Search, and from humble beginnings built the business into the North-West’s leading search firm for both privately owned and PE-backed SMEs. More recently, Paul has spearheaded a merger with the London-based search firm Drax, and has overseen the addition of complementary services to Rowan’s core Search offering. Most notably, Rowan’s ‘Leadership Dynamics™’ solution is able to objectively analyse and recommend improvements for leadership teams.

Paul specialises in CFO and board-level appointments into growth-oriented, ambitious businesses, as well as helping SMEs create and deliver bespoke Value Creation Plans through the aforementioned Leadership Dynamics™ solution.
