Paul Lopez the co-Chair of Tie Angels Atlanta and TiE ACCESS will be available on a Zoom call to explain the investment opportunity to TiE NJ members only who are accredited investors. 

Managed by TiE Atlanta, TiE ACCESS invests in Early Stage, Seed, and Seed+ businesses led by Women and Minority entrepreneurs. Launched earlier this year, TiE ACCESS has so far reviewed 51 potential start-up businesses and has selected 11 finalists from this group of 51 applicants.  The gender/ethnic profile of the 11 founders/finalists reflects ACCESS's vision to reach underrepresented groups: 82% are Female, 62% Black, 18% Hispanic, 18% Asian founders.  Each of the finalists has been allotted two coaches - with at least one of the two coaches being a woman. Investments will be made into 3-4 of these companies in dollar values likely ranging from $60k to $150k each and totaling to around $275-300k.  TiE members who are accredited investors (see note 2 below) who would like to participate can invest a total of $5,000-$10,000 plus $100 in admin fees into a commingled vehicle (LLC) which will in turn invest in these selected businesses.

Paul can also talk about TiE Atlanta's award-winning TiE Angels program which has been in operation since 2017, has already funded 19 start-ups with a total deal value of $6.8 MM in three years.
