In this new series in association with SAP we will be introducing our audience to different industries that has been directly or indirectly affected by the pandemic, where the leaders from each industry shares knowledge and experience to help the one's who are still struggling to establish their brand.

In the first session of the series we will be addressing "The future of retail: The role of New-age Tech"

The COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact most industries at an unprecedented scale globally, including retail that has witnessed significant disruption over the past few months. Retailers in the country at this point are not looking to make profits, but are rather looking for a way to stay afloat and provide all the support that they can to their employees and other stakeholders to continue business as usual. This pandemic has forced the retailer to view this as an opportunity to think in a more "phygital", physical yet digital, in order to adjust their existing processes to the "new normal".

At this session our speakers for the session will be touching base on the following areas of Retail:

1. The Contact-less Retail: Now, Next and Beyond
2. Fast-forwarding tech in Retail
3. Augmenting the Customer Experience for the Stay-at-home Shoppers. 

Speaker Profile:

Krishnan Venkateswaran: Chief Digital and Innovation Officer, Titan. Krishnan is Chief Digital & Information Officer with Titan Company Limited. He is an alumnus of IIT Bombay and IIM Kolkata and his experience spans technology consulting, transformation and leadership roles. Titan is re-inventing itself as a ‘Phygital’ organization - one that seamlessly combines the best of Physical and Digital products and services to deliver truly New Age experiences. Krishnan is quite excited to be part of this journey.

Pinakiranjan Mishra: Partner, Sector Leader, Consumer Products and Retail, EY (India). Pinaki is the Sector Leader for Consumer Products and Retail (CPR) for EY in India . He is responsible for leading the firm’s integrated go-to-market and client service strategies for the CP and Retail clients in India. He advises companies in areas related to digital, business planning and strategy, risk management, ecommerce strategy, cost reduction, etc.

Kanav Singla: Founder- CEO, Adloid. Kanav founded one of the earliest AR/VR product companies in India with a vision to democratize immersive technologies. He is an engineer from IIT Delhi, and multiple patent holder in the field on computer vision and machine learning.

Manish Gupta: Industry Business Architect, SAP. Experience working across - Telecom & Media, Retail, Hospitality – with some interesting initiatives of omni-channel, digital banking, IOT, e-commerce in their early stages of adoption. Product Management, Business Analysis and Solution Consulting. Loves listening to stories – so if you have an interesting one to share, he will be all ears!
