As awful as the pandemic was, the uncertainty changed the business climate for the better in some ways. The coronavirus decimated an unprecedented number of small businesses, more closed than would be expected during a normal year —but also enabled the launch of an unprecedented number of new ones. Some industries have been doing well during the pandemic like delivery services, grocery, edtech, gaming, healthcare/ healthtech, edtech. On the other hand, many like retail, travel, aviation, hospitality etc took the worst hit.  We’ve also seen large incumbent companies pivot during the crisis.

As the economy recovers, it’s interesting to watch if the boom run caused by the pandemic retains its steam, or will it go back to the earlier levels? Are changes during pandemic permanent or new innovations still to spring up? Join us for the 4th Edition of ‘The Big Debate’. Hear a strong and counter viewpoint on - Is the boom run over for businesses that thrived during the pandemic?
