TiE Tampa Bay in partnership with USFCONNECT is proud to present an exciting event, an evening with the venerable Kanwal Rekhi, Ph.D. Managing Director of Inventus Capital Partners (bio) in an exclusive VIP reception, dinner followed by an hour-long fire-side chat.

Dr.Rekhi will talk about the challenges of technology startups that are disrupting highly regulated industries, and include an in-person case-study featuring an entrepreneur who is innovating in a traditional and regulated industry.

The evening will start at 6:00 p.m. with a special joint-segment of TiE and USFCONNECT, followed at 7:15 p.m. by a networking hour, a startup mini-expo, and dinner for the general membership, before the main program commences at 8:00 p.m.

• 6:00 pm - 7:15 pm Startup Shuffle, a joint-program of TiE and USFCONNECT with 20 startups in an Elevator Pitch Competition (Deadline for startups to Apply is May 25th)
• 7:15 pm - 8:00 pm General Members and Charter Members Networking Hour, Startup Expo, and Dinner (sponsored by Stormpeace.com)
• 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm Fire-side Chat with Dr. Kanwal Rekhi, Managing Director, Inventus Capital Partners.
