Satish Jha, currently chairman of Edufront, ReachScale and The Jha Group, among others, is an early stage Investor, entrepreneur, and former C-level corporate executive with Fortune 100 companies with experience over decades of scaling up social impact investing.
Satish co-founded a national daily newspaper, Jansatta, for the Indian Express Group, and was the editor of Dinamaan, the national news weekly of Times of India Group. He co-founded Digital Partners, one of the earliest impact investment bodies, that later merged with Grameen Technologies, of Nobel Laureate Mohd Yunus. Among the 40+ startups he invested in were acquired by GE, Walmart, Gartner Group and Genpact, among others.
In addition to leading One Laptop per Child(OLPC) in India, he cherishes helping start PUCL (People’s Union for Civil Liberties) Bulletin along with Arun Jaitley, Baramati Conference with Sharad Pawar, working closely in his teens with Jaya Prakash Narayan, and as a South Commission Technology Advisor to Dr. Manmohan Singh.
Satish Jha studied economics at JNU, international studies at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Government of Science at Harvard Kennedy School, political economy at ISS Hague, and holds an MBA from ED HEC, France.

Satya is a published poet in Urdu (www.muasir.in). Satya currently is working on Sanskrit to Urdu translations of great works by Kalidasa. He converses only in Sanskrit at home and also never misses his 20min of Urdu newspaper reading every day.
