Dr. Martin Schulz joined Littelfuse in February 2021 as Global Principal in Application Engineering. He is responsible for power semiconductors with a focus on the applications electric commercial vehicles, charging infrastructure, energy storage systems and industrial drive technology. He is also an expert in packaging and interconnect technology in power semiconductors as well as in all aspects of thermal management of power semiconductors.

Electrification of vehicles goes well beyond the passenger car.

Trucks, construction machinery and buses – the so-called heavy-duty vehicles – make about 10% of the vehicles on our roads but consume as much as 25% of the fossil fuel used in traffic.

Regulations and legislation demands to achieve challenging targets in energy efficiency and reduction of CO2-emissions, therefore electric commercial vehicles are on the rise.

It is not only about moving tons of goods – even low-speed delivery-vehicles like quads or 3-wheeled rickshaws contribute to in-city congestions and benefit from being electrified.

Power electronics is at the heart of the change towards a cleaner transportation.

In this webinar, a closer look is taken into the value chain from energy generation, transportation, storage and efficient use.

See how renewable energy generation, utility-scale, battery-based storage systems and electric commercial vehicle will be part of a greener transportation industry.

Join us to experience how power electronic solutions by Littelfuse support this value-chain with components to serve a power range from a few watts to several megawatts.
