He is a senior economist with BBVA Research. Boyd leads the U.S. and regional macroeconomics teams. Boyd’s most recent research has focused on the factors driving the slowing prime-age labor force participation, the impact that lower oil prices have on the regional economies, how financial inclusion and access to financial services impacts local economies, and how Millennials stack up against their generational cohorts. His work has been featured in Bloomberg, Wall Street Journal, Consensus Economics, Dallas Morning News, the Houston Chronicle, San Antonio Express News, Business Weekly, Business Insider, American Banker and Texas Monthly.

Vivek Chidambaram, is a TiE Houston Corporate Member. He leads Accenture’s Energy Strategy business in North America. He also manages the Industry Solutions group for Accenture Energy globally.  His work includes helping the c-suite transform their organizations by putting in place tangible digital visions, developing digital roadmaps and projects and defining operating models to deliver digital and analytics at scale.   Technology strategy and change management have gone hand-in-hand in these digital transformation efforts. He is also heavily involved in cost forensics based analytical work needed to uncover hidden value associated with these transformations.
