Open Source IoT Day is a half-day event that will arm participants with valuable insights into the major open source software and hardware technologies that are powering innovative IoT-driven solutions.

Open source technologies enable a rapid learning curve, maturity and adoption by encouraging sharing, reusing, and intensive improvement of technical knowledge by leveraging the combined efforts of the community. You see further by standing on the shoulders of giants!

The growing demand for IoT-enabled solutions in consumer, commercial and industrial environments has required a unique multidisciplinary approach. An IoT practitioner is often straddling the boundaries between hardware and software in the quest to provide market leading products and services. 

Open Source IoT Day will highlight existing open source software and hardware that IoT practitioners can leverage to develop innovative solutions and improve their time to market while contributing back to the ecosystem.
