Open Mic Nights allow entrepreneurs to network with angel investors, venture capitalists, startup-focused service-based providers, mentors, and a large community of other successful entrepreneurs. The event takes place on the second Tuesday of every month.

May's speaker is Siya Raj Purohit. 

Siya Raj Purohit is the Global Edtech Category Lead for Amazon Web Services (AWS) and a General Partner at Pathway Ventures. Siya has been an operator + investor in the Edtech sector for her entire career: she was early at Udacity & Springboard, and invested with GSV Ventures. She is also the author of Engineering America, a book on the country's jobs-skills gap.

To pitch at this event, you don’t have to be a TiE member, you just need to be an entrepreneur or an aspiring entrepreneur with a passion to share your idea that may change our world. You will be given a safe entrepreneurial friendly virtual space to deliver an elevator pitch for 2 minutes in presence of a group of mentors, angel investors, venture capitalists, startup-focused service providers, and a very supportive community of successful entrepreneurs.
