TiE Tampa Bay is delighted to present the next event in our ‘MyStory’ series featuring Todd Belveal, who is a serial entrepreneur and the co-founder of Silvercar. Austin-based Silvercar, is a mobile-enabled car rental company that never has a line because it lets customers reserve, pay, and even unlock cars, with a smartphone. Audi recently announced that it is acquiring the company.

After Silvercar’s successful launch, Todd went on to found mobile technology company, Washlava, and is the CEO. Tampa-based Washlava is creating a laundry experience that lets you reserve and pay for washers and dryers through your smartphone in laundromats, apartments and dorms.

Todd believes in creating elevated customer experiences that are simple, straight-forward, and enhance people’s lives so they can focus on things that are truly important to them.

The evening will start at 6:00 p.m. with a closed-door session exclusively for charter members and invited accredited investors, followed at 7:15 p.m. by a networking hour, a startup expo, and dinner for the general membership, before ‘MyStory’ commences at 8:00 p.m.

Todd’s bio:

Todd is a serial entrepreneur and the founder and CEO of Washlava, a mobile technology company that lets you reserve and pay for washers and dryers through your smartphone. Prior to Washlava, Todd successfully funded and launched mobile-enabled car rental startup, Silvercar, of which he is a co-founder. Established in Austin in early 2012, Silvercar operates a business model based on offering one type of vehicle and enabling customers to book and complete the rentals, even unlocking the cars, with a smartphone. The company is now being acquired by Audi. Before Silvercar, Todd held leadership positions at Accenture, Kurt Salmon Associates, and Tiffany & Co.
