Digital transformation has fundamentally altered how companies function and provide value to customers. This transformation enables organizations to do away with manual operations, provide speedier results, and provide quicker services to customers so they can compete with other businesses in their market.

How can an organization become a leading cybersecurity player, take on its own digital transformation, and help other organizations secure their digital journeys? This is what Sumedh Thakar has done by transforming Qualys - a publicly traded company on NASDAQ with a SaaS-based platform for digital security that helps organizations with digital transformation by ensuring that their systems are effectively protected from intruders.

The Qualys Cloud Platform and its integrated apps help businesses simplify security operations and lower the cost of compliance by delivering critical security intelligence on demand and automating the full spectrum of auditing, compliance, and protection for IT systems and web applications. Over 10,000 subscription customers trust Qualys and its solutions.

Sumedh will share his personal story, including his arrival in Silicon Valley in the early 2000s, his time at startups, and the ups and downs that led him to Qualys, where he recently celebrated 20 years. He will reflect on his journey from a software engineer to CEO and the valuable lessons he gained along the way. Sumedh will also explore the idea that success is a personal construct and share his thoughts on what makes a good leader.
