One out of 2 car buyers in India visit CarWale before buying a car- that's because, Mohit Dubey pursued his idea of simplifying car buying relentlessly for more than a decade. Mohit first got an exit for all his angels and VCs in 2010 by selling the majority to a German Media company. He went on to build it further and in 2015, CarWale consolidated the market with CarTrade and sold the company in one of the best consumer internet cash outcome for founders and shareholders. For the exit and thereafter, company raised around Rs 1000 Cr from Temasek , Warburg Pincus, March Capital and JP Morgan. Mohit continued as CarWale CEO, Co-Founder and Board Member of the combined entity to see through the merger successfully. 

He recently, started zophop to ensure that no one has to ever wait again at the bus stop- his startup now track more than 5000 buses in real time and let you know when exactly the bus will arrive at bus stop. Mohit wants to make sure that daily commuters can plan and pay for their trip with one click across any buses, trains, auto and cabs.

In one line, we have an entrepreneur who bootstrapped, raised VC money, created a great cash exit, executed a very successful merger and started again!

Priya is an ambi-dexterous using her left and right hand with equal ease in her daily life. But that’s just a small manifestation of her extra-ordinary achievement between two seemingly different worlds. Her achievement in Social work is as brilliant as her contribution in building one of the India’s most successful consumer internet company CarWale.com. Today, one out of every three car buyers in India researches on carwale.com. As one of the promoters and head of Talent and Training Team, She drove CarWale’s growth from a mere 70 people to 500. After CW merged with CarTrade, she became Head of HR & Training of 1500+ people organization.

Post her MA in Social work, she had worked with CARE India, UN World Food Program, PSI (Avahan project by Bill & Milinda Gates Foundation) and as State Programme Manager for Madhya Pradesh for RCH II/NRHM.

Being Head Girl in School and Secretary in MA, leadership comes naturally to Priya. She can mobilise and influence people for great causes because of strong persuasion skills. She was National Award winner for Scouts & Guides along with Governor Award.  She represented her state at National level for Republic Day Parade, New Delhi. She was the captain in NCC and got Best Cadet attending two national capms. She also got District Youth Award by Ministry of HRD fpr her voluntary work during summer vacations in hospital service ailing patients suffering from TB and leprosy. Surprisingly it doesn’t make her lesser than studies. She was merit student and is a National scholarship holder in BA and also given Merit prize in MA for her extra ordinary performance. She has got gold medal in University level creative writing and silver medal in inter-university youth festival.

She is courageous and is fighter who will never compromise on ethics and right things. Pretty vocal in her approach, she is strong willed yet soft hearted person who is extremely compassionate about people and situations around her.

  She is as logical as emotional and as goal driven as kind; she has contributed to social development as well as people development as  now building a tech start-up. To conclude, she lives a fuller life seeming conflicting but that’s really an easy balance for her
