Meagan Landress started her own practice – Financial Coach Meagan – to specifically help people who are beginning their financial planning journey. She is a certified financial coach, CSLP (Certified Student Loan Professional), the first to acquire this designation in Georgia. After studying finance in college, Megan’s internship turned into a full-time job after her graduation with a boutique financial planning firm in Atlanta.

“I consistently run into with my clients of not having proper education, training, and knowledge on how to navigate their financials especially when there is a loan in the mix. It motivates me to help and guide people, especially women, through informed decisions using the right strategy that is best suited for an individual. I thrive to bring peace of mind to my clients by helping them gain control of their finances and feel confident in their financial future.”

Outside the office, Meagan serves as Treasurer of the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers, as well as President & CEO of the non-profit organization Power Suit Project, Inc. Meagan enjoys cooking, reading, and strength training; when she is working or volunteering, you can often find her in the gym or cheering for the Atlanta Braves.

Varsha Grogan will be moderating this webinar.

Varsha Grogan

Varsha has first-hand experience in learning the basics of finance when she lost her life partner who was also a business partner in their insurance business. The learning of the claim process, probate, WILLS, tax returns had to be immediate, but also taking over the business and solely running it by herself was challenging. She surpassed her own expectations and made a huge success of it. This personal experience makes her the perfect moderator to discuss finance basics with the speaker Meagan Landress.

Varsha has been in the life insurance business since 1992. Her degree in Accounting and FLMI from LOMA gives her an edge in providing relevant and up-to-date solutions to her clients’ needs. She is a member of National Brokerage Agencies, Inc. (NBA) and of National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies (NAILBA). She volunteers and serves as a mentor on NAILBA to help the second generation of agency principals. She is an active member of TiE Austin and serves on the Women – VLFE (Vive Les Femmes Entrepreneurs) committee.
