Dr. Navneet Puri, Founder and CEO, Nevakar
Prior to Nevakar, Dr Puri spent several years in product development and drug delivery of parenteral pharmaceuticals at Baxter Healthcare Corp. and Amgen Inc. He founded InnoPharma, Inc. in 2005, focusing on development of complex generic injectable dosage formulations. When Pfizer acquired InnoPharma in 2014, he stayed on as Vice President of Pfizer’s Worldwide Research & Development until 2015.
Dr. Puri received Future 50 magazine’s Smart CEO award in 2015. He was also awarded the EY Entrepreneur of The Year award from the state of NJ in 2015.
Dr Puri’s past board positions include InnoPharma, Eyenuk and Xeris Pharmaceuticals. His current board positions include Nevakar, Alzeca Biosciences and Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences Leadership Council.
Dr. Puri earned a MS from the University of Mississippi and a PhD in Pharmaceutics from Rutgers University.

of the Year" award, was named "Top Forty under Forty" by NJBiz Magazine,
honored with “Lifetime Achievement Award” by Pharmaceutical Management Science
Association, and named to the PharmaVOICE 100, which recognizes the 100 most
influential people in the life sciences industry.
In recognition of his service and achievements, Jassi was awarded Distinguished
Alumni Service Award by IIT Delhi in 2008.
Jassi received his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Delhi in 1990,
M.S. in Industrial Engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso in 1992,
was a Doctoral candidate (ABD) in Operations Research at Texas A&M
University until 1995 and graduated from Owners President Program (OPM) from
Harvard Business School in 2017.
Don DeGolyer, Founder & CEO, Vertice Pharma
Previously, Don was the COO of Endo Pharmaceuticals, where he led the fastest growing U.S. generic business, completed six acquisitions and created more than $12 Billion dollars of shareholder value. Earlier, he served as President & CEO of Sandoz North America with sales of $3.5 billion. Sandoz, the generics division of Novartis, is the second largest generics company in the world.
Don began his career at Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson and then Novartis progressing through various roles of increasing responsibility. Prior to joining Novartis in 2002, Don was the President of Global Therapeutics at publicly traded Oxford GlycoSciences, a world leader in proteomics and rare diseases. Don received his undergraduate degree from the University of Rochester and his MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He served on the Executive Committee of Board of Directors for the Generic Pharmaceutical Association (GPhA), and has also served on the Board of the Red Cross for NJ.
Dr. Raj Lakhanpal, Founder and CEO, SpectraMedix
Previously he founded HealthAtoZ, a top online wellness and population health management platform with deep analytics capabilities. HealthAtoZ was acquired by OptumHealth, a division of UnitedHealth Group in 2006.
Raj is a former emergency
physician and associated as Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and
Surgeons in the UK. He serves on Board of Trustees of the University of
Sciences in Philadelphia, and a Lifetime member of AAPI. Last but not least, he is the founder of TiE New Jersey
Chapter.
