Southern California is still THE hotbed of the medical technology industry. Startups in this sector are leveraging microfluidics, robotics, sensors, software, smart phones and much more to improve the health and extend the lives of rich and poor worldwide. TiE Socal partners with local alumni of the IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology) to bring you an interactive panel discussion for health care industry veterans, entrepreneurs, and aspiring newcomers.

Learn from their decades of startup experience about how to start, build, fund, grow and sell medical device startups. Our panel of speakers (see below) will be moderated by Gunjan Bagla (IIT Kanpur 1978) of Amritt, Inc whose medical device clients include Roche Diagnostics, Johnson & Johnson, Becton Dickinson, Hollister, and a number of startups.

Important note:

This event is for all entrepreneurs in all industries. You will get to meet 4 successful entrepreneurs, each at incremental levels of business evolution. At the top of the food chain our panel hosts Pramod Mathur who just took his company public. He is a serial entrepreneur with three prior companies. Next we have Pankaj Singhal, whose company was acquired by a public company. Then we have Sanjay Shrivastava who was an executive at a large medtech company, and is now growing two funded startups. Finally we have Shabir Bambot who is in the midst of raising money for his grant-recipient startup.

As your own company evolves from idea to acquisition (or going public), you must overcome obstacles and respond to change faster than ever. Be better prepared for each level of evolution with inside information straight from fellow entrepreneurs who are experiencing it right now. Ask our panel how to solve your toughest challenges and reach your wildest dreams.
