 | Raghu Rao is a serial entrepreneur, strategic advisor, and angel investor in innovative deep-tech and impact ventures. Mr. Rao has founded, scaled, and had successful exits with several deep-tech companies.
In his 35-year career, Mr. Rao has led teams for management, operations and oversight for clients in Government, Healthcare, Cybersecurity, Publishing and Energy sectors. Mr. Rao has advised on the strategy and managed the roll-out of high-profile projects, such as USA.gov, TSA Screening Gateway, Cancer.gov and other eGovernment initiatives. As the Vistage Princeton Chair, Mr. Rao ran three high-performing peer advisory boards for middle-market CEOs and business leaders of companies with total revenues exceeding $2 Billion. As the CEO of InfoZen, Mr. Rao has managed over $1 Billion in U.S. Federal Government contracts. Mr. Rao is a Charter Member of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE.org) and Indiaspora. He has held board/advisor positions at several deeptech companies from startups to public companies. Mr. Rao has completed the CERT Certificate in Cybersecurity Oversight endorsed by the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and awarded by the CMU Software Engineering Institute CERT.
Mr. Rao is active in social entrepreneurship and co-founded the Hindu Jewish Coalition in 2012 and the Forum for Religious Freedom in 2007 to preserve religious diversity worldwide. He has held non-profit board positions at the Infinity Foundation in New Jersey and the Family Services Agency in Maryland. Mr. Rao has contributed and helped raise several million dollars in support of causes such as education and healthcare of tribal children in India, preservation of indigenous knowledge traditions and diversity worldwide. Mr. Rao is a member of the Coalition of Religious Leaders of New Jersey.
