The UK Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) is looking for India-based technology start-ups to join their inaugural Go Global India programme between October and December 2019. This is a unique opportunity for innovative Indian start-ups using technology to solve local problems, to learn how to build their business to develop global solutions.
Successful start-ups will have the opportunity to improve their business skills; expand their capability; and build links with the UK’s thriving tech sector and UK expertise to take their business to the next level.
Programme Curriculum:
The programme is divided into two parts, a local programme based in Bengaluru India and a UK- based programme.
1)The local programme is a series of 6 workshops which will run in Bengaluru for 3 weeks on Friday (10:00-16:00) and Saturday (10:00-16:00) and will be delivered by UK and local experts, professionals and business executives. This will be followed by a send-off event for the Go Global participants.
Each workshop will be approximately 5-6 hours long and most are intended to be highly practical in nature, meaning participants can act on what they have learned immediately. The workshops will focus on skills and capabilities where the UK and India have a strong competitive advantage including:

What happens next?
Go Global is only the beginning.
Each of the participants will be expected to act as a champion for the UK-India Tech Hub and pass on their expertise to their communities, as well as future cohorts of Go Global. They will also be invited to participate in other projects led by the hub, who will support them on their scale-up journey.
