Profile:
Ms. Chaturvedi is Founder & Managing Partner of Achieving Women Equity (AWE) Funds to invest in innovative enterprises which positively impact gender balance, by investing in women owned, led, influenced companies in India building on the investment thesis that investing in women businesses delivers both commercial returns and economic development impact.
Previously, she was founder and managing director of Accelerator Group, LLC, an investment banking and strategic advisory services firm. Prior to this, she has worked with Amherst Partners, LLC, Shearson Lehman and JM Financial Services (later JM Morgan Stanley-Indian affiliate of Morgan Stanley).
As a prolific thought leader and speaker, Ms. Chaturvedi has been a guest lecturer at Johns Hopkins’ Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) on Gender Lens Investing & Women Economic Empowerment, invited to US Department of State’s International Speakers Program. Additionally, she has participated in several international conferences as a speaker including Mackinac Leadership Conference, IFC Healthcare Conference, Pravasi Bharatiya Divas, TiE Global Summit and Private Equity in India conferences. She is one of three invited advisors to Bain Consulting’s seminal study on Women Entrepreneurship in India.
To support economic development, Ms. Chaturvedi has been a founding member of the Great Lakes Manufacturing Council and has served on several boards including co-chairing Michigan IT Summit, Marygrove College in Michigan, International Business Council at Automation Alley. She served on the Economic Advisory Council (EAC) of Center for American Progress, Washington DC based progressive think-tank; the boards of TiE Detroit, TiE Miami and TiE Global and the MiamiDade Urban Debate League. She is an invited member of Indiaspora, a by-invitation-only not-forprofit organization to amplify the positive impact of Indians.

Profile:
Arun Sethuraman founded Crely in 2017 with a mission to reduce surgical site infection rates after surgery, and to improve health outcomes and patient experience. Timely detection of a surgical site infection is a big challenge for the clinician. Crely is an early stage MedTech company that provides clinical decision support solutions to predict and reduce postoperative surgical site infections.
Prior to Crely, Arun served as Vice President, Group Information Officer – International at Stryker Corporation, where he set up the organization, and led the transformation of technology services for all markets outside of the United States. Through smart integrations with hospitals and other value chain partners, Arun helped to build a patient-focused, connected ecosystem that enabled Stryker as easy to do business with. He also championed the setting up of AsiaPacific MedTech CIO roundtable under the APACMed umbrella to bring CIOs together to collaborate on industry-wide issues and opportunities.
Arun held multiple global roles with Merck KGaA group, at the intersection of business process transformation, information technology and M&A integration. He also won a global leadership award for an innovative approach to improve the quality of life for Multiple Sclerosis patients using digital health solutions. Arun has also held business and technology leadership roles at Nike and General Motors Corporation in the areas of manufacturing, e-commerce, supply chain, marketing and retail management.
Arun holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Telecommunication and a post-graduate diploma in Business Administration. He is an alumnus of Harvard Business School’s General
Management Program. He is an avid traveler and lives in Singapore and Boston, MA. He is passionate about serving the community, and has been associated with Greater Boston Food Bank, The Hindu Centre, Singapore and HBS Alumni mentoring programs.
Arun serves on the Advisory Board of Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART). He is also the Vice Chair (Medical Devices) of the APACMed Startup Committee leadership team and a TiE Singapore Charter Member.
