TiE Seattle & Smart Mobility Seattle presents: Automotive Cloud and the Future of Mobility

The $3 trillion global automotive industry is going through a major transformation with ride/car sharing services, electric, autonomous and connected vehicle technologies gaining rapid evolution and adoption. In addition, ride hailing services like Uber & Lyft are expected to reach a forecasted $133 billion market worldwide by 2023. Lyft recently went public at a valuation of $24 billion and Uber has filed its IPO targeting $90 - $100 billion valuations.

Being the epicenter of cloud innovation, Seattle is attracting an increasing number of mobility companies including Mercedes, GM Cruise, Uber, Lyft, Grab and others. Microsoft and Amazon are also actively pursuing this market and have announced several strategic partnerships with BMW, VW, Daimler, Renault Nissan and others. Amazon and Bezos have made investments in Uber, Rivian, Aurora and Convoy while Microsoft and Bill Gates have made investments in Grab, Convoy and Kymeta.

This event brings some of the industry leaders, entrepreneurs, investors and the community together to discuss industry trends, the role of cloud tech and the future of mobility.
