He spent initial years of his professional career as a consultant with Accenture & Capgemini Consulting. After 2 unsuccessful attempts at starting up - he joined Uber as an early member of the India team and spent over 5 years in various leadership roles within their ride sharing and food delivery business. In his last role he led the Uber Eats business operations across India and SA. He is passionate about building high performing teams that focuses on solving complex real life problems and loves spending time with his kids.

Rahul Pandit MD & CEO, Hamstede Living Over the last 27 years, Rahul has worked across deluxe, upscale, midscale and budget lodging and had the privilege of co-founding and leading as President & ED, Lemon Tree Hotels.He lead the business from a greenfield start-up to 40 hotels across 28 cities pan India and participated in creating three brands for the company – upscale Lemon Tree Premier, midscale Lemon Tree Hotels and economy Red Fox Hotels. Rahul directly lead development, sales, marketing, operations, hotel finance, HR and technology functions at Lemon Tree which listed in April 2018 at a $800M valuation and had deployed capital from Warburg Pincus, Shinsei Bank, Kotak Realty and the Dutch pension fund, APG. He has subsequently, as the MD & CEO, lead the performance turnaround at Tata Group’s Ginger Hotels - with its best ever metrics of growth, new development pipeline, a new design template hotel in Mumbai and the highest employee and customer satisfaction since the brand's inception. Featured on the Hotelier India 2017 Powerlist, Rahul has a track record of personal integrity and unimpeachable conduct and brings to the table an understanding of the risk/rewards arbitrage in the real estate/services sector and truly believes that agility and focus on employees, customers and partners and accretive EBITDA via technology can create a profitablebusiness of scale. A graduate of IHM Pusa, New Delhi and a former member of the Indian Karate team, Rahul has studied Sales, Innovation and HR management at IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, ISB Hyderabad and Cornell-Nanyang, Singapore. He has worked and trained across India, USA and Singapore with Choice Hotels, Taj Hotels, Spectramind (WIPRO BPO) and Intercontinental Hotels. Rahul also serves as Member, National Tourism Committee - Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
