Girija Pande is the Chairman of Apex Avalon Consulting Singapore, a
Singapore based company that provides Management Consulting and
Business Research to businesses in the fast growing Asia Pacific (APAC)
market. Mr. Pande is ex-President of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS)Asia
Pacific, a part of India's largest business conglomerate.He also Chairs the
Asia Board of Advisors of Chain i Q Ltd,Zurich –a global sourcing and
procurement firm.
Mr Pande has over three decades of experience in senior positions in Banking and Financial Services with a Citibank affiliate and subsequently ANZ Banking Group, and in IT with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Ltd. TCS is a global Tech giant valued at over $100 bn with over 400,000 FTE. Mr Pande set up TCS-APAC and under his Chairmanship the company grew to 11,000 associates in 14 countries. Mr. Pande was also Vice Chairman of TCS’ joint-venture with the Chinese Government, and was instrumental in building the business to over 2,500 associates in six cities in China.
He was council member for the Singapore Government’s high powered Manpower Council set up by the Infocom Development Authority and served on the Advisory Board of Singapore Management University, NTU Business School and National Council of Social Services in Singapore. He currently serves on Boards of Global Technology Companies, National Healthcare Group, Singapore International Chamber of Commerce, Institute of South Asian Studies—part of NUS and serves as a Trustee of SINDA Awards: He recently was awarded Public Service Medal by the Goverment of Singapore on National Day. He has received the best CEO Award from Singapore HR Institute and two Social Services Award by Ministry of Social & Family Development. He was conferred “The Distinguished Alumnus Award”
in 2019 by Pan IIM Alumni in Singapore. Mr. Pande holds an engineering degree and an MBA from India’s prestigious business school, Indian
Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad. He has extensive experience throughout Asia, as he held senior postings in Korea, Hong Kong, Bahrain and India. He was the Executive Chairman of the ANZ Grindlays Asset Management Company in India, and has served on the Advisory Boards of PE Funds focused on India / Technology. Mr. Pande is well known among business circles in Singapore, India and Asia and has wide ranging contacts in these countries. He has been a speaker at the World Economic Forum in China and speaks on business and technology forums in Asia. He
is frequently interviewed on International TV Channels like CNBC, Bloomberg and the international press for his views on Asian and global business trends. He has co-authored a successful book on building business in China and India 'The Silk Road Rediscovered' published by John Wiley.

Dinesh Dhamija is of Indian descent. He read Law at Cambridge University, getting an MA degree in 1974. He is also an MBA from Harvard Business
School.
He started his own brick and mortar travel business, in 1980 called Flight
Bookers and converted it into an e-commerce travel company in 1999, called ebookers.com. As this was the first e-commerce travel company in Europe, sales went from $0 to $1 Billion by2004. Employees went from 0 to 2000 in the same period. The company was based in 11countries in Europe, serving 300 Million people. Ebookers.com was quoted on both Nasdaq and London stock exchanges. In early 2005, ebookers.com was sold for half a billion dollars.
During this journey, Dinesh was awarded Entrepreneur of the year in the UK in 2003 he became a member of the British Travel Hall of Fame in 2004. He was also named the Asian Man of the Year (UK) in 2004.
Since 2005, Dinesh has focused his investments in India, Romania and the
UK; and charities in India and the UK. He is Vice Chair of the Global Board of
TiE, the entrepreneurs organisation in Silicon Valley.
Dinesh married Tani in 1977 and they have 2 sons Biren (42) and Darun (40). Tani worked with Dinesh from 1980 to 2004 in the travel business.
In addition to business and philanthropic commitments, Dinesh has spent the last 5 years supporting the Liberal Democratic party . He was elected MEP forLondon to the Eu parliament in Brussels in May 2019.
After leaving Parliament in February 2020 (Brexit) he has gone back into
business, promoting solar PV in Romania.It will be the largest solar PV plant generating 350 MW of electricity. (the second largest is 56 MW to put this in context.)
