The Defense Department has officially released the CMMC standard for contractors. CMMC was created to secure the Defense supply chain. The vast majority of the 300,000 contractors that make up the DoD supply chain are small- and medium-sized contractors. Any company that wants to do business with the DoD will be required to achieve and maintain CMMC certification.

Mr. Neel Gopalani

Mr. Neel Gopalani is a co-founder and COO at Aristi Technologies, Inc. He is responsible for business development, project delivery and consulting services in the areas of cybersecurity and cloud application development.

Prior to Aristi, Neel served in key leadership roles at ECS Federal, supporting ECS’ exemplary growth from a small business with $6M in annual revenue (in 2002) to a leading provider of technology solutions and services with over $600M in annual revenue (in 2018). He led the delivery of enterprise operations and technology solutions in areas of Agile/DevOps software development, cloud solutions and cybersecurity across federal civilian agencies. He supported strategic growth, led business development and capture efforts and proposal development activities. Neel was a key contributor to many capture/proposal opportunities that resulted in strategic contracts to ECS Federal including HUD, USPS, GAO, FBI, US Army, Treasury, and EPA.

Neel has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering. He has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Information Systems from the University of Louisiana.

He also maintains several industry-leading IT certifications including Project Management Professional (PMP), AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate), Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK) and Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
