Associations work more effectively when charter members know one another as individuals. A charter member’s retreat is an ideal way/ time to know other members one-on-one and help them to feel a part of the community.

We, at TiE Delhi-NCR, feel it’s time to head out for a networking offsite exclusively for Charter Members. We will be headed to Shekhawati in Rajasthan from 10th to 12th Feb 2023.

Why Shekhawati? - Shekhawati is a region in the Thar desert, the northern part of Rajasthan, famous for its havelis and ancestral homes. Shekhawati is also known as “Open Art Gallery of India”. The town is famous for its magnificent frescoes that seems to be the highlight of the structures all across the Shekhawati region.

We have planned guided tours, dinners and experiences to soak in the history of Shekhawati.

Travel:

We travel to Shekhawati in a luxurious Volvo bus. In your entire journey you will be accompanied and taken care by senior staff members of TiE. The proposed itinerary is:

• Departure from New Delhi: 6:00 a.m. on Friday, Feb 10, 2023
• Return to Delhi: 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, Feb 12, 2023

Accommodation:

We would be staying in well-appointed rooms at The Vivaana Culture Hotel, Mandawa, Rajasthan. Vivaana is 150 years old haveli which has been lovingly restored and renovated into a Boutique Heritage Hotel. It features luxuriously decorated rooms where each room is distinct, stocked with period furniture, having original frescos and complemented by modern amenities which give a taste of the life of the erstwhile rich Marwari traders.
