Come enjoy a relaxed, convivial evening with fellow Charter Members for a private viewing of the renowned Gaur Collection of Modern & Contemporary Indian Art led by Umesh who will discuss the special pleasure of collecting such art.
The Gaurs are seasoned collectors; one part of their collection on tribal art is presently on tour in various museums across the United States; their collection of photographs is appearing at the Smithsonian.
PLUS: An introduction to collecting South Asian art for investment by the famous expert, Robin Roche, from the DAG gallery in Manhattan.
Robin will show examples of art at a few pre-selected price points depending upon whether you want to start your collection with an investment of $ 10-50K or are a collector who wants to spend $ 250K +.
Spouses are invited - the event will be more fun if they accompany you!

About Robin Roche
Robin Roche, SVP and Gallery Manager, Delhi Arts Gallery, New York.
Robin is Fine Arts Business Development Leader and an entrepreneurial thinker that launched and scaled multiple businesses in the ecommerce and luxury space. She is Senior Vice President and Gallery Manager, Delhi Arts Gallery (DAG), New York (www.DAGworld.com).
Prior to joining DAG on Oct 2018, she was Head of Business Development, SGS, New York between 2015-18. SGS Art Services provides material testing and presale inspections to buyers of artworks in an effort to bring transparency, mitigate risk and combat the trade of forgeries.
Prior to that, she was Chief Auction Officer, Auctionata AG, New York, where she led the US Corporate Expansion for an ecommerce site specializing in luxury goods including watches, jewelry, art and cars between 2013-15. She also held various positions of increasing responsibilities at Artnet, Gerald Peters Gallery and Christie’s between 2000-2013.
Robin received a B.A. degree in Art History, University of California, Riverside.
