As the B2B Unicorn club gets mightier, the centre of gravity of India’s startup ecosystem is shifting towards B2B startups.
With digitization opening up the SMBs as an attractive customer segment there is a steady increase in the number of B2B startups year on year, validating this as the sunrise sector. Yet, B2B startups occupy a quieter world, with different cost structures & DNA. Not for them the valuation froth and deal frenzy associated with their glamorous B2C counterparts.
With newer startups, founders and investors actively exploring this segment, there is a need to build the B2B ecosystem.
