This Masterclass will introduce entrepreneurs to how Angel Investment works, what Angel investors look for in start-ups and why. It is a primer for participants on the concept of angel investing, the profile of typical Angels and what they are looking for in potential investments.

An age-old, yet healthy, problem for startups has been to find people or firms wiling to invest in their company and its vision. Often, even for a company with a solid business plan and proven customer record, it proves difficult to receive funding, as they may be unaware of the right kind of funding and the best approach to it. Entrepreneurs at the masterclass will pick up pointers on the different types of investment, how to deliver an effective pitch, making a good impression and negotiating the best investment deal.

It is a pre-requisite of attendance that participants should, at a minimum, have already developed a business plan; the Masterclass will help to re-assess the strengths and weaknesses of their business models and how to ensure that their approach address the key issues that Angel investors are concerned about.
