In 2006, Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar had the vision to create a global cultural festival, an unparalleled platform to bring everyone together in celebration of our shared humanity and rich cultural diversity.

After taking place in India in 2006 and then at the Olympic Stadium in Germany in 2011, the 3rd, larger-than-life event had an attendance of over 3.75 million people from all around the world, with 36,603 artists performing on the world's largest stage of 7 acres.
