Join us for a webinar with Ro Gupta where he will share his entrepreneurial journey thus far.

The discussion will be moderated by Arun Pasrija. TiE Houston Board member/CEO CHR Solutions

Ro Gupta co-founded and was the CEO of CARMERA, a spatial AI company that uses vehicular data-sourcing and remote sensing to capture road and lane-level change at global breadth and high-definition depth. CARMERA was recently acquired by Woven Planet, the advanced mobility subsidiary of Toyota, where Ro now runs the North American operations of Woven Planet's Automated Mapping Platform.

Before CARMERA, he created data products at Disqus, and helped grow the social web network to over 2 billion users. Prior to that, he held business development roles at Disney and strategic advisory roles for Fortune 500s and NGOs in the United States, South America and Africa. Ro received a BSE, with focus areas in stochastic systems, network optimization and transportation, from Princeton, and an MBA from Northwestern Kellogg.

  • CARMERA is a spatial AI company that supports next-generation mobility with cutting-edge mapping and geospatial technology. A wholly owned subsidiary of Toyota’s Woven Planet Holdings, CARMERA specializes in using commodity sensors, like vehicle cameras and consumer telematics, to create rich map data with the accuracy, fidelity and detail needed to support even the most advanced transportation use cases.
