Are You Living Your Best Life?
While we are generally living longer than humans did thousands of years ago, we aren’t taking full advantage of those extra years. Chronic diseases and frailty are negatively impacting our mature years and many of these years are spent in poor health.
While the global average life expectancy increased by five years within the last decade, this increase is primarily due to improvements in childhood survival (a fantastic achievement for humanity). The bad news is that over this same time frame, the burden of chronic disease has increased.
But there is also a ray of hope in their preventable nature. Early screening and lifestyle changes have enormous potential to increase the length of people’s healthy lives.
TiE-UP is organizing an Informational session on health and reversing lifestyle diseases with Mr. Lalit Mohan Kapoor, renowned health nutrition Coach. Where he will be talking about 5 Pillars of Health for Living a healthy lifestyle that can decrease your risk of serious long-term health conditions from occurring and prevent the existing condition from becoming more severe.

About The Speaker:
Mr Lalit Mohan Kapoor is a 1971 graduate of IIT Kanpur. He finished his MBA from UCLA in 1975 and worked in various Management and sales positions for an Aerospace company before starting his own company in IT Services Field. He retired from business life in 2005 after successfully selling two of his start-up companies.
By 2012 lifestyle diseases had caught up with him and he was on medications for Hypertension, Diabetes, Hypothyroid, Gout and Sleep Apnoea. Then he came across a documentary “Forks over Knives” that resonated with him and changed his life forever. He started reading more about health and diet and attending seminars. He implemented the recommendations of the “Planet-based whole Food” doctors and one by one got of all medications and shed 50-pound weight.
Few years ago, he started a health group for his IITK alumni which received many successes. Now he has multiple health groups and his followers have been able to get off medications for most chronic conditions like Hypertension, Heart Diseases, Diabetes, Arthritis, and other ailments.
